Making Things Fairer For Labour Hire Workers To operate legally in Victoria from 30 October 2019, labour hire providers must have applied for, or have a labour hire licence. Labour hire providers will have six months from 29 April to apply for a licence.

Parliament has approved legislation to extend Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting to include all small employers from 1 July 2019. This legislation is awaiting royal assent. Find out about the ATO webcast on Tuesday 5 March and the resources available on STP.
